Monday Meanders

The CUBS took 2 out of 3 from Milwaukee over the weekend and looked good doing it.  Go CUBS go.

As a Citizen, and as a Veteran, it puzzles me that we have to depend on charities to help and assist our veterans that have been wounded.  This, of all the ills of our society, is our biggest crime.  And our VA Hospitals are a joke.  Veteran care should be rendered by regular hospitals under a voucher system, and ready reference must be available to specialists as necessary.  Otherwise, who are we?

Work continues on the CB750.  I was shown the parts from the carburetor that have been so problematic.  I was amazed that they were so small and delicate - and that they would be expected to persist in their environment.  But, Honda know what they're doing, I suppose.  They do, after all, make the most reliable motorcycles in the world.  It's just that when they get to be 35 years old, or so, parts may start to fail - and also get to be hard to find.

I love the look on the guy's face in the BMO harris commercial where his wife says "And I'm pregnant".  From the look on his face I want to just yell at him "you know very well how that happened".

Warm front coming, folks.  With rain and thundershowers.

Ndinombethe.  Ubuntu.
