Sunday, having left Lenox, MA, headed for East Greenwich, RI, I went a little out of my way to stop at King Richard's Faire at Carver, MA. I met Patti's daughter and granddaughter, who own and run a costuming business at the Faire.
Some of the sights at that Faire follow:
There was a juggler:
And he had a very flexible assistant:
There was a Sheriff who wore his tankard on his head in order to have both hands free to write warrants (and he wouldn't put it on the ground because someone could kick it over):
There was an harpist, playing soft and lovely music:
And there was the occasional lovely and fresh young face:
