100 Word Challenge - Invincible

What follows is offered in response to Velvet Verbosity's 100 Word Challenge. The challenge, this week, is "Invincible".



The apehangers were at shoulder height, the big black Harley sleek and polished, and as he cruised along the highway, he looked neither left nor right, but straight ahead, his emotion masked by the molded black sunglasses that hugged his face and hid his eyes.

He wore rough leather chaps over worn blue jeans and a black leather vest over bare skin, his tattooed arms bare down to the soft kid gloves on his hands.

There was a feeling he drew out in those who saw him as they slowly passed him in cars.  He was, for all appearances, invincible.
