What follows is offered in response to Velvet Verbosity's 100 Word Challenge. The challenge, this week, is "Busted".
"Hey. Harry. You got any money?", asked Roger.
"Nah. I'm busted. Ain't like I got a job or nuthin'.", said Harry.
"Move over, man. Gimme some space. I wanna get warm, too.", commanded Roger.
"No problem, dude. It's the only thing I got I can share.", lamented Harry.
"What?", asked Roger, a quizzical look on his dirt smeared face.
"Heat. Warmth ... and room next to the fire.", said Harry as he scooted to one side.
"That's what I like about you, Harry ... always willing to share the wealth", said Roger.

I could actually see them, esp in the cold of this winter.
the dialogue was so real, I could almost hear the gruff laughing.
as always, your words are good ones.
Great dialogue! And I love that Roger feels, despite Harry's lack of money, that he's still wealthy.
great dialogue
This is really good. The dialogue was excellent. I could picture it perfectly.
I love your dialogue pieces. Even without any other descriptions, I can see the whole scene playing out.
Yep, great dialogue!
