Tiger Woods leads after two rounds of the Farmer's at Torrey Pines.
He played the very tough South Course to 4 under, the first day. At one point he was 6 under on that course but had bogey troubles on the way in and wound up 4 under. Still. $ under on the South Course. Way Cool.
He played the 'easier' North Course to 7 under on day two. He ended the day 11 under for the tournament - 2 strokes better than the field.
In the first two rounds, Tiger had a total of 3 bogeys and one double bogey. 14 birdies and one eagle.
It was noted by one of the commentators, on Sirius/XM Radio's PGA Tour Radio, that Tiger's swing looks better than he has seen in in year. Yesterday, Tiger hit 12 of 14 fairways. That's important because it speaks to the accuracy of his drives - and it's always easier to play a second shot from the short grass.
Grannie is pleased. Very pleased. She has been waiting for Tiger to make a return to form.
This may be it.

I'm not sure who I'm happier for... Grannie or Tiger.
I am with Tara..! But seriously, we won't know if he is back until he stares down McElroy or Watson in a competitive tournament...
