Monday Meanders

There was a small meetup yesterday - WeaselMomma and Tracey and I sat for several hours at Durbin's of Plainfield talking, drinking and eating.  Weather being what it was, everyone went home sober and safe.

The weather, yesterday, was ... memorable.  Rain, freezing rain, sleet and snow - all within 4 hours.  And then, as a finishing touch, and as the temperature actually went UP after sundown, we had thunder and lightning.

My goodness.

A warmup is coming.  It could be 65 deg. F by Tuesday.

Sometimes I wish I could go "down the islands" again.  I loved Trinidad - as did #1 Son.  It's the only time the two of us ever traveled anywhere 'alone' - just him and me.

There was a time a few years ago where LM(Love Muffin) and #2 Son drove off to California all by themselves, to visit LM's relatives out there - so #1 Son is not the only son to get the whole "Travel with a Parent" experience.

Now if we could just figure out what to do with #3 Son.

I'm jealous of your meet up. There are so many fabulous bloggers in the Chi-town area.

That weather passed through here in S.E. Michigan between midnight & the morning rush hour. And we'll be back to the 20's by Wednesday night...UGH!
As for #3 son, I have no idea, unless you split it up somehow. Tag-team vacations-Hmmmm.....
