Graham Norton

First of all - if you're a guy, you watch 'Top Gear" - and not the bland American version, but the witty, pithy British version.  The original.

That said, there was a time when LM(Love Muffin) and I were big fans of the Graham Norton Show, which we watched on late night PBS - back then it was our only venue into British TV.  Of course, over the years all of that has changed; BBC America came along and we never got into the habit, somehow, of watching BBCA and, of course, that's where Graham Norton's show is now.

Anyway.

Last night, while getting some Art stuff together and sorted, I stumbled across the beginning of The Graham Norton Show on BBC America and since I was home alone and there wasn't anybody to yell at me to turn it off, I left it on as background.  At least, that was the idea.

But there was this eclectic group of guests and they were ... hilarious.

Jake Gyllenhaal, Jeremy Clarkson and James May (of Top Gear), Joan Rivers and Ke$ha.

Joan Rivers at age 79 is still a stitch - on the other hand, her face never moves so you can't tell when she's serious.  Jake held his own, surprisingly, against Joan AND Graham, James and Jeremy were their usual wacky selves and Ke$ha was musically wonderful and personally very strange.

I lost an hour getting my stuff done.
