Haiku Friday

Haiku Friday

Riding in the cold
Not bad for the first few miles.
Invigorating.

Ndinombethe.

For the second time in less than a week I've ridden the 'Coot Scoot' up to the College to drop something to #3 Son and both times It. Was. Cold.

It's a good thing I like Hot Chocolate.

Do you have your long john? A good pair of thermals is what you need to help keep warm.

I rode often and cold. :) Hubbymoose wore heated gear hooked up to an extra battery on his bike - jacket, gloves, and chaps.

Me? I would ride as soon as the ice let it be possible and as late as the first snow - that is, from mid-ish March until late-ish October some years. (although we DID know one guy who rode -in a snowless year - on New Year's Eve)

I wore layers and stopped often for coffee . . . but I rode . . . thousands of miles more than the Hog owners :)

Good 'ku and good for you!!! Wish I could join you.
