100 Word Challenge - Distancing

What follows is offered in response to Velvet Verbosity's 100 Word Challenge. The challenge, this week, is "Distancing".

Haiku Friday
Heliopause. I'm at Heliopause.

She was my Sun, my Moon. My Stars.

The orbit is broken. Gravity shifted and I found myself spinning away, slowly, at
first, but now I'm as far away as I can get and still be within her influence.

Heliopause.

I still feel her. But any more distancing and I will be beyond her reach.
Beyond her influence. What I must ask myself is where I want to go.

Do I continue into the unknown, seeking another Sun? Another to lend me light and
warmth - to pull me in with her gravity?

Or fall back?

Heliopause.

this made me so damn sad.

Maybe it is my mood or that there is no chocolate.

Or my baby turns 21.

So sad.

Very reminiscent of A Space Odyssey to me. I feel like I should call you Hal.
