100 Word Challenge - Cinnamon

What follows is offered in response to Velvet Verbosity's 100 Word Challenge. The challenge, this week, is "Cinnamon".

"You wanna go to a Paul Stukey concert?  I need someone to go with."
"Sure.  Why not?"
And so they went on their first date.  Strangers.  By the time the date was over, they knew.  Both of them.  They weren't destined to remain strangers.

She thinks it was sitting on the gymnasium floor, between his legs, his arms around her as they listened to the music and song.

He thinks it was the post concert stop at Petersen's Ice Cream, where they had warm apple pie covered with slabs of homemade cinnamon ice cream, and coffee.

Who knows who's right?

Cinnamon; the universal spice. It is the comfort of Mom's cooking and the romance of a delicious first date. Yummy post!
