An Uneventful Day

At the end of what has been an uneventful day, Agent Callan blew away the bad guy in cold blood.  He exacted revenge, on camera and in full view of the television audience (in the story, obviously).   But it was, up until that point, like I said, uneventful.

I drove to work - by car, because I overslept.  Boring.

I spent the day chained to my desk, figuring out this, that, and the other.  Not exactly boring, but not an Indiana Jones adventure, either.

Then I drove home, during which, the Cubs lost the game and therefore, screwed up the one chance at a bit of excitement for the day.  Go Cubs.

I spent some time in the garage, got gas for the scoot (75 miles per gallon from the last tank fill up, WOOT!) (gee, that was almost exciting), fixed the problem with the trunk on the scoot (it's a good thing I'm handy with a wrench - not exciting, but satisfying), and puttered around a bit.  Boring.  Satisfying but boring.

Then I watched "NCIS: Los Angeles" and like I said, that excitement at the end of the show - the cliffhanger that will last until Fall - was the highlight of the day.

Pathetic, huh?

Although ... there may have been some Facebook stuff that went on today that was just the right amount of fun.  And that's all I'm sayin'.  :)

The thing I am impressed with is that you did this, that AND the other at work today! I can usually get this and that done, but barely ever the other ; )

Boring can be nice sometimes. I am thankful for regular boring days. I hope tomorrow is better for you though, since I can tell you like non regular days a little better.

Welcome to my life, where the highlight of yesterday was celebrating my grand dogger's 7th birthday with cupcakes. It's right up there with being a Kardashian I tell ya.

Quiet is better than stressful. I like quiet, I don't get many of those days.

Holy cow! 75 miles per gallon?!?! That's amazing. Maybe when we move farther away from my work and we live on the boat I should get a scoot too!

I'm not so sure I'd call Agent Callan's action exciting, but it sure was satisfying.
