Giveaways and giving up

Listen To Your Mother is two weeks away. May 6th. 7pm.  Tracey Becker of Just Another Mommy Blog and Melisa Wells of Suburban Scrawl each have two tickets that they are giving away on their blogs and the givewaways are up on Tuesday evening. So hurry right over and check 'em out. Free tickets, right?

We had rehearsal today.  It's gonna be awesome - just awesome.  Go enter for those tickets, 'k?

I've never been one who has been known for making all the right and best choices.  Oh, once in a while I'll guess right, but like I say, I make more wrong than right.  As evidenced by yesterday.  I mean, what kind of choice was it that had me riding two wheels at 70 MPH up I-55 into the teeth of a COLD 30MPH headwind?

And back.

The wind switched directions while I was downtown, so I drove into a headwind going BACK, too.  30 MPH.  And did I say COLD?  I've been home for 4 hours and my nuts are STILL frozen.

I'm going to give up on the Photo365.  It's just too much for right now.  I'm not going to give up photography, don't get me wrong - it's just that the Photo365 takes a commitment I am just not prepared to make right now.  I've tried - and it's just too much.

... so it IS true... the wind ALWAYS blows in your face when you are on a bike..! Had my suspicions for the longest time but I could not confirm them...

...break a leg! Wish I could see the performance live... but I will take what I can get..!

Lol at the wind changing direction! I wussed out and drove to work today. It was practically a hurricane out there. That's my story and I'm ticking to it!

You have got a lot on your plate. Best of luck!

You WERE insane for riding that thing yesterday! CRAZY. I didn't even get to talk to you! Wah. When it gets warmer, we are doing the bike trails, man. Can't WAIT for the show, either!

Maybe you should invest in a warm pair of thermals?

I can appreciate how much time a 365P takes up. I'm sorry you're bowing out, but I know that doesn't mean you're giving up photography.
