100 Word Challenge - Escape

What follows is in response to the 100 Word Challenge, authored by the captivating Velvet Verbosity. The word this week is "Escape".

The boat had sunk and there they had been, for a week - alone on a deserted island.

" ... and my cousin, Rhonda Jane, she lives in the next holla over, she's as purdy as twin kittens in the hay, 'n' she's a blonde too, ya know, an' she's married ta Billy Bob Morton, he's a tweaker an' he ain"t NO good, but he brings home good money an' that's what's REALLY important, ya know, 'cause if a girl cain't have a good man then she's gotta have her ... "

He cringed. Thoughts of unending sex had given way to thoughts of escape.
