What follows is in response to the 100 Word Challenge, authored by the wildly precocious Velvet Verbosity. The word this week is "Inhibited".
There she stood, tall and leggy, blond hair falling about her shoulders. The light shone in her eyes, so she kept them closed as she strummed her guitar and sang her sad lyrics in a warm and soulful voice.
She wore a plaid shirt, open at the neck and jeans, workman's boots and a big leather belt that bunched the jean fabric around her waist.
The song began to build in tempo, her voice grew stronger, louder, in keeping with the changing mood of the song - and as it changed, it seemed to open her and strip away all inhibition.

I love the word... the words... and the feeling of the slow rise to the loss of inhibition.

Yes! You've captured that crescendo beautifully. I can see the scene upholding.
Yeah, I don't know what was better? The build or the follow through. Both were good. Great use of the word.
Love the imagery. Next round of drinks would have been on me!
Pulled me in--you nailed the visuals.
Hi there ! I'm popping in from the 100-word challenge . My first time participating .
Nice build up of both the story-line and the characters vocals . Great job .
Ah, yes... the best are always like this. Very nice.
aaahhh. I've fallen "in love" with many a musician as I watched them pour their soul into a song.
