... well, maybe not the Eagle, actually, but it feels like it. We actually made it all the way out here and nobody got thrown out of the car or dismissed from the family. We had a great ride - The newest member of our family had never ridden through the mountains, before, and she was all agog, to say the least.
And she REALLY loved the Joshua Trees.
Anyway - pictures soon. Some, anyway.

You made good time, much better than I would have. I can't spend that long in a car every day. I was thinking that, back in the day, you would have taken longer to get there, but you could have done the entire trip on Route 66. That would have been very cool.
I grew up very close to Joshua Tree. Very pretty place.
