What follows is in response to the 100 Word Challenge, authored by the garrulous Velvet Verbosity. The word this week is "Starved".
Sister Rosamunda watched out the window as the long, chauffeured limousine pulled up in front of the school.
"Who the hell is this?"
She watched as the well dressed woman in the pillbox hat and fox stole got out of the car and, nose in the air, strode across the sidewalk.
"Ooohhhh. That must be Mrs Stoverson."
Eventually, there came a knock on her door.
"Enter."
She remained seated as Mrs. Stoverson came in.
"How do you do. I'm Mrs. ..."
"I know who you are. Have a seat. You must be starved for air up there. Now. About your son ..."

I loved this!
'You must be starved for air up there.' That is a delicious line.
Sister Rosamunda seems like someone I would get along with. I love the humor the Sister has.
Love the use of the prompt. Thanks for letting me now I was under 100, I got caught up in the flow & forgot the limit but I've fixed it now:-)
A nun who is fairly unimpressed with the snobbish parents she educates. I can just imagine her snarl when she saw the huge Rolls pulling into the school parking lot... of course she knew EXACTLY "who she was"..!
Heh! Don't know where you get your ideas from. There are so many characters in you.
lol - LOVE Sr. Rosamunda!
Just gotta love the justaposition of a nun who can curse with the best, yet pull the same best down off their pedastals.
Oh, that was delightful, Lou.
What's with the Linky thing? Are you hosting again?
I love that "Sister" curses. That made me chuckle. This was perfectly rendered.
Patti, I'm using LinkyTools and the "blog hop" function which allows each blogger to add a little snippet of code so that all the links show up on all the posts. It makes it easier for people to "hop" from one entry to the next. :)
