Monday Meanders 4-4

Cubs lose. Again. To Pittsburgh. I swear I'm not going to do it again. I'm not going to live and breathe the team that can't even beat the Pirates. Last year, in 15 games against the Pirates, the Cubs lost 10. This year? They've already lost 2 out of 3. The Pirates finished last in the division last year. They will finish there again this year. Unless, of course, the Cubs finish lower.

For me, this is going to be a year without baseball.

Yesterday, the thermometer in my car read 77 degrees at about 5:30 in the afternoon. Accurate? I don't know. But I do know it was awfully nice outside. Of course, I had spent the day INDOORS, cleaning. Just my luck. It was supposed to have been a rainy day. April Fools, 2 days late.

The Chicago Bulls are tearin' it UP!! Too bad the season is almost over.

Maybe what I need to do is play more golf. Or take more pictures. Or do some serious painting. Something to take my mind off of baseball.

Yeah. That's the ticket. Take my mind off of baseball.

Oh how I wish my husband would see the wisdom in your ways. Three days into baseball and he is all over the Cubs crazed. I keep saying, THIS IS NOT THE YEAR DEAR! Just give up and be normal.

Illinois had a worse winter than Indiana, but it was still bad enough to make me finally desert my lifelong home and head to the land of the dead. I mean, Florida. Wanna buy a house in Indiana? I'll make you a good deal.

Take more pictures, play more golf and paint a little more. I think you should do all three! Monday again. Where did the weekend go huh?

Golf and photography may be less frustrating, well... at least the photography should be. Glad you're finally getting some warm weather to enjoy.

Lou, you are a renaissance man! I don't think I was aware that you paint. Next you will tell me that you act along with your skills as a writer. You have all the bases covered, along with James Franco, you prolly had all the ladies swooning! Does the Missus know what kind of catch she has caught..? :o)
