Deuces Day

Frankly, I spent some time looking through old posts that share the date, from previous years, because truth be told, I ain't got much today. I couldn't find anything I wanted to repost. I get the feeling I spend a lot of time out here saying nothing. At least, nothing worth repeating.

'Sarah' is pushing along nicely. I'm even getting to the point where I may start putting 'Gwalchmei' back to work. But I'm not going to let him distract me from my work with 'Sarah'. She needs to get her finishing touches so she's done - so I can start putting her together as a real book.

#3 Son is into his third trimester of the year. Soon Sophomore year will be done. Two more to go.

#1 Son is taking courses from DeVry University. He's in his second term. First term? A's. Straight A's. Like I knew he would.

#2 Son is, of course, married. He lost his job last year and is still looking. He has found part-time work, but it isn't enough. Wiring guys are, apparently, not in great demand. But, he's persistent. He'll find something.

And then, of course, there's Grannie - who is doing VERY well after her surgery last summer and her fall last Fall.

LM (Love Muffin) is fine, I'm fine, and that's the name of that tune.

Hasta manana.

Ndinombethe.

It's good to know that you're all doing great Lou. Everybody is fine in my family too, I'm on the phone with my Mom every single day and she has more energy than ever before!
I'm doing great too, I started a new blog (in Dutch) which is going to be loads of fun. It is called "genieten in Vlaanderen", enjoying life in Flanders if you translate it, and I'm going to write about everything and anything you can enjoy. I love it! Of course there is going to be photos too, and I believe that my photography is going to become more important in the future. We'll see!

I would welcome the return of Gwalchmei. Sounds like sons #1, #2 and #3 are doing well. Good to hear Grannie is making such good progress too.

For something you call 'nothing' there seemed to be a lot in this post!

Has to be a fantastic feeling to know that you have such capable and intelligent young men as son's. The pride you have in them is palable.

Love Muffin!! Got to remember that for next time. Maybe I will stick with 'the Missus' in referencing her. Pet names are pet names... I like them but Nebrska doesnt... I only am allowed to adress her by her name... :o(

To be honest I have not been following baseball this year at all. I have not developed a routine where I read the paper or watch ESPN yet... all I know is that I hope the pitching and Miguel Cabrera can hold up for the good guys and they at least make the post season...

As to the Bulls, the future may be now... would that not be a kick or what?
