Monday Meanders 1-31

Pitchers and Catchers report in two weeks. Go Cubs!!

It seems a bit ironic to be cheering on Spring Training and there's a BLIZZARD headed for Chicago. Tuesday is supposed to be the beginning of a snow storm which could dump 18 inches or more on Chicago and environs. Environs. That's ME!!!

It's been a while since we've had one of those "cloud cum everywhere" storms. I guess we're due. Hold on to your bootstraps, Gloria, it's gonna get ugly.

I cannot believe it's the last day of January already. Tempus fugit. Fug.

Grannie continues to improve, but likely this coming storm is going to cancel her Doctor appointments this week. Fortunately, these are assessment visits - they aren't necessary to further her improvement.

My #2 Son is still looking for a job. Anyone who knows anyone that's looking for a REALLY good network wiring/alarm/low voltage installation guy - just let me know. He's also an experienced motorcycle parts guy/mechanic.

I have been doing a lot of test shooting of my digital camera at low ISO and on manual settings. I love my camera. It is SO good. I plan to use my digital camera to test shoot for my film systems. I plan to shoot my 35mm Exakta and the 6cmx6cm Kiev, and since neither of them have any electric parts, I can use my Digital camera to make sure I get the exposure right. For FREE!!

Have a nice week, y'all. I hope it don't get as deep by you as I KNOW it's gonna get by me.

Ndinombethe.

We're supposed to get snow, too. But then I looked it up on the doppler radar, and it appears that the storm coming through northern US is WAAAAAAAAAAAY bigger than the storm coming through CO.

So. Good luck! Warm thoughts!

Good luck to Son #2 in his job search, and glad to hear Grannie continues to improve.

Keep warm and safe during the next round of snow storms.
