Monday Meanders 1-3

Bears lost. To Green Bay, no less. At least it doesn't change their position in the standings - and they'll keep their first round bye in the playoffs. I hope they don't wind up playing them for the NFC Championship.

Today is the first work day of the New Year - although I think I can stop capitalizing 'new year' now. It's an old year, now. By three days.

Grannie seems a little better each day. She gets Physical Therapy every day - so she's moving around. And there seems to be less pain now. Now it's just a matter of time.

I just realized ... the fact that I mention Grannie THIRD does not, in fact, diminish her importance or the import of what she's going through. I just thought I'd mention that. :)

It's been busy round here, obviously. It's way past time for things to begin to settle into a routine. LM and I are looking forward to a trip to Florida at the end of February. We're to spend a week with blogger friends. I am SO looking forward.

I hope this year brings all of us Peace and Prosperity. It's a hope, anyway. The chances may be slim, but there is, after all, a chance and that's all I ask for.

Ndinombethe.

I'm so glad to hear that Grannie is on the mend. That's good news. You're right. She's tough.

I'm smiling...

Well, your mom getting better takes the sting off of Green Bay's win. But only a little...

Happy New Year, Lou!

So glad to hear that Grannie is getting better every day. Huge sigh of relief.

Where about in Florida are you thinking? Hubby and I are just talking about visiting Anna Maria Island in August.

I am a big proponent of physical therapy. I hope Grannie continues to improve daily.

If you and LM are coming close to the Panhandle, let me know, I'd love to see you both.

I would think that you'd be remiss in not mentioning Grannie at all, particularly since she is improving and getting after it.

I hate to say it but I think Green Bay is the best team on the NFC side. Chicago is a close second esp. if Cutler can keep throwing it to the cats with the orange 'C's on their helmets!

It's difficult to watch someone age, and to know that if all goes well, we'll be there someday, too. We can all only hope we have someone like you around who still cares about Granny and supports and loves her.
