100 Word Challenge - Wild

What follows is in response to the 100 Word Challenge, authored by the stately and measured Velvet Verbosity. The word this week is "Wild".

100 Word Challenge

The Greaser

He stands on the wide stone stairway leading to the entrance of the school, hands in his pockets, shades on his face, cigarette in his mouth, black hair slicked back, his very posture a screaming challenge to authority. His jeans are new, his tee shirt white and freshly washed, with his pack of cigarettes rolled up in the sleeve.

Two girls in pink poodle skirts, books in hand and heads together in secret communication, pass him on the staircase, their giggles floating on the air.

One says, "He's cute." The other cautions, "He's wild". And the one says, "I know."

I love this! A typical conversation between two girls... over one guy! Cool... ;-)

I don't know a single woman who doesn't go through her bad boy phrase. (Hugs)Indigo
