Ah, the first day of a short week. Thursday is Turkey Day. Candied Yam Day. Spiral Ham Day. Mom's Egg Stuffing Day. No More Work Until Monday Day. I hope your Thanksgiving is as good as I know mine is going to be.
#3 Son, who has been spinning like a top as to whether or not he wants to stay at the school where he's been or go to another, currently seems to favor staying put. It would be nice if this were to be, in fact, the final spin of the top.
I watched the Eagles and Giants play their game last night. The Bears play the Eagles this coming Sunday. THIS conTEST will be exactly that - a TEST for the Bears. After this upcoming game, we will know exactly how good the Bears are - or are not. Fingers crossed.
It's gift buying season, again. As usual, what to buy LM (Love Muffin) is an issue that rises to the forefront of my mind. And there it will stay until I figure something out.
We've actually made purchases or purchasing decisions for everyone in the family - which is REALLY early, for us. It feels so good. I may actually make it through this Holiday Season with money left at the end of the year. And that REALLY feels good.
I've been doing some sketches and some 'studies' for a while now - I feel like there's a painting brewing in there, somewhere. Soon, I think. Soon.

You hazve some nice things to look forward to this week!
aaaaah, thanksgiving. i could do with a long weekend... maybe i'll 'emigrate' to america for the day????
as for shopping season, i'm quite pointedly ignoring it... which, for me, is as strange as you knowing what you're doing.
and i'm looking forward to your painting. you will show it, won't you?!?!
Can you wrap up love and tie it with a ribbon?
Looking forward to your seeing your painting... as for your son and school... I didn't know until after I was in the Army what school I wanted to go to, and after getting there I did not know what to study!
He will figure that out... happy turkey day!!
Happy Squanto Day!
Happy Thanksgiving, Lou. You're one of the people I'm grateful for!
It is that time of year again, isn't it? Enjoy your Thanksgiving!
You've actually begun holiday shopping? I am so much later this year than usual. Panic is starting to bubble up...
Sounds like you're in a good place.
Loved the top analogy :)
I admire anyone who can paint (or even think about it!)
