Monday Meanders 6-14

Under the heading "Places I go" - which I'm theoretically supposed to do EVERY Monday - I'd like to offer up the following site - which belongs to a woman who usually tells her stories in pictures of her son and all his many friends: Life With Kaishon.

Grannie is in the hospital. She'll be home in a day or two, but things are a little disrupted right now. And of course, I'm a bit worried.

LM (Love Muffin - or the wife once known as SWMBO - She Who Must Be Obeyed) has been doing yeoman duty at the hospital, keeping track of Doctor visits and Meds and all that stuff. She is somethin' else. I am so lucky - and so is Grannie.

There is a commercial for Allstate Insurance in which they wreck several motorcycles. Seems to me like they could make their point without destroying good motors. I'm just sayin'.

I'm on vacation this week. We were trying to make up our minds as to whether or not we wanted to go to Missouri to visit Annie's sister. But. Grannie made up our minds for us. Truth? I'm glad she did. I really didn't feel like going anywhere, anyway. It's just that I would like to have found a different way to make up our minds.

Yardwork. Need I say more? So. Mother Nature!! Listen up!! It can quit raining anytime - I want to get the yardwork done quickly, so I can get on with my time off from work.

I'll be holding good thoughts for Grannie. And better weather all around.

Get Well Soon, Grannie! And Lou, enjoy your yard work. Builds character you know!

Ooh, my word recognition is 'antranks'... I guess your yard work might be more challenging that you expected!

Let's see. My Monday Meanders:
Ty-man is leaving for Washington, DC early tomorrow morning and won't return until late Thursday night. That means that my mom will fix my favorite dish that Ty hates. :) It is far too hot in Georgia for it to only be June. I think I slipped through a wormhole and somehow ended yp in August.

Sorry to hear about Grannie. :(

Glad to hear that Grannie is going to be up and at 'em soon... do you have patents on LM and SWMBO? I think I like those two terms of endearment..! The latter sounds like Sarah..!

Sometimes staycations are better than going somewhere, even if you plan to do house projects. Speedy recovery to Grannie!

Aw, I hope Grannie feels better. Man, it's so true you need to have someone watching over loved ones in the hospital to make sure they are properly taken care of.

Hope you find at least one day to go golfing.
