100 Word Challenge - Traditional

What follows is in response to the 100 Word Challenge, traditionally authored by the custom driven Velvet Verbosity, but lately hosted by the renegade ME. The Word this week is "Traditional".

p.s. Even though Velvet's site is down right now, I am still going to put up the traditional link to the graphic - because when her site comes back, so will the graphic, and then this'll look right. Just in case someone comes to visit. Sometime in the future. You know. Posterity.

100 Word Challenge

"Junior!! Get in here!!"
"Yeah, Pops? You bellowed?"
"You are SO lucky this is a family owned company."
"Why? What?"
"Because anywhere else you'd be fired."
"Why? What?"
"The Human Resources girl called again. You're FIFTH employment application is unacceptable - just like all the others."
"Why? What?"
"First of all, your name is NOT 'Jose Jimenez'. Second of all, your previous occupation is NOT 'Astronaut'. But that isn't what REALLY got her."
"Why? What?"
"Seriously? You have no idea?"
"Why? What?"
"The answer to the question is "Male", NOT "traditional".

How badly do I date myself to say I 'got' the 'Jose Jimenez' joke. This Challenge entry was hilarious.
