Tipp City workshop

First up - I am being interviewed today at Red Headed Stepchild - Out of the Basement by Dee. Check it out. Go ahead. I'll wait.

Good. You're back. I hope.

Anyway ....

If you don't know by now, this last weekend was spent in the company of a number of lovely people people in attendance at the Watercolor Workshop held by Rusty Harden, THE most amazing artist. The workshop was held in an old, old town in Ohio. Tipp City is a lovely and quaint town and not only do nice people live there, but there are some really neat things to take pictures of. Like .....

The remnants of the Miami River Locks
On the Ohio and Erie Canal

The grooves the lock gates
Swung Through

A canal barge typical of craft
that once sailed the canal

And this is only the beginning of what I found there to take pictures of. And that is the second time I ended a sentence with a preposition.

Pictures of Art forthcoming - the final piece we worked on is unfinished at this time. I will publish a photo, tomorrow, of the piece as it exists. When I get it done, I'll publish that, as well.

Ndinombethe.

This looks like a very inspiring place, both for photos and art!

That first one is breathtakingly beautiful.

The colours, the textures... wonderful.

ohhhh... Now I'm itching to do the tourist thing at Tipp City when we next go.

I'm sure the in-laws haven't done it yet either.
