Wordless Wednesday - Head in the Clouds

Head in the Clouds

The Golden Gate Bridge, Marin Side
As a summer fog begins to roll in.

p.s. This summer, plan on seeing Chicago in great detail. Especially along the lakefront.

I can't wait to see Chicago through your lens! This one's great, I love the drama created by the fog!

I once played golf in Marin County at the end of the day after flying out from Columbus, Ohio. The neat thing about that day was that I finished playing at 8 pm Pacific Time, which would have been 11 pm back in Columbus, and I thought that is the way to finish the day. Oh, and you could see water from several of the tees too.

Even though I have an unexplainable fear of bridges and would rather swim than be caught on this one...

it's gorgeous! Nice shot.

Great shot!

I was just in San Francisco area for 10 days. Beautiful country. That bridge ate a lot of film! Love this moody shot.

That pic is a great improvement from the all-white, snow covered view I'm looking at today!

This is Curt's favorite city. Perhaps I needed to see this for more than one reason today.

PattiKen: Thank you, Patti.

Grandmother: Yes, The Bridge CAN eat a lot of film - or bits.

Tara R: This kind of thing is SO easy in San Francisco.

Heather: Glad I could help. xo

Nevine: Yes. Every Wednesday - all summer long.

hello Lou,
my second favorite city is San Fransisco, and you know my first fave! Since reinventing my photographic skills I have not visited the most glorious bridge in my world...thank you for sharing.

btw: where in chi-town are you located? in general, if you wish to divulge.

Looks cold... :(

Theresa K: San Francisco or Chicago?

Nicole: It's a really spooky feeling watching the fog roll in off the sea - especially when the day has been sunny up until then.

Friend: I live in Plainfield, IL, about 40 miles or so southwest of the City, although I did grow up IN the City.

Miss Ash: Why, thank you, ma'am.

Emily: It gets a bit chilly in the fog - because the water off the coastline is so cold.
