p.s. As regards yesterday's post, not so much MY experience - but I do computers for a living, and I have seen the results of "No backups" too many times.
I agree on the backup. I have three external hard drives. When it comes to pics and video, I even back up the back up. I use to tell me dad when he first started computing, I showed him how to build a computer and being the Heath Kit kind of guy he was he loved it, but I told him, don’t be a knave and save, save, save.
Having just come back from that beautiful city, I can appreciate the beauty of your photo, but I can also feel the chill of that cold weather in my bones. : )
I, personally, am so over the gray and cloudy this winter. I would love to see that same shot of the lake in Summer!!
Once when I was a fledgling techy, a client typed DEL *.* in the root directory... and had no backup. GAH! Every client we ever had was required to sign 2 contracts swearing on their lives that they'd back up daily and take the data off-site to safe location. Very rarely did they actually follow through.

An excellent view of a northern winter. It makes me shiver just to see it.
So pretty. In a northern-winter way. :)

Lovely pic.
I have a tera and a 300 gig, but I have no idea HOW to back up my blog... unless it's in a way that takes a lot more time than I have...
