I'm back. I haven't been here in a little while. Sometimes it's so hard keeping up. Must have something to do with that time perception you talked about. LOL. I have read everything & I am caught up. I like the way you changed Sarah's story. I can feel the difference.
I have never seen or heard of the bean at the top of the page. Very interesting! Hope your week is going well! :)

I SO wanted to see that one but I'm afraid I missed it. A great photo opportunity. I love the drama in the sky too. Lovely.

But... what IS it?
I think there are folks inside the bean, taking pictures of people walking by.

I wonder how many nose pickers they catch?

Chicago is a beautiful city. I was there with my friend Nebraska and we had a really nice time.

The only thing about the trip, was that it was winter time and I didn't get to walk the city like I wanted to. Next time I am there, I will make sure to find my way to the lakefront. We only stood down there for a brief time and it was at night, but the silhouette of her against the darkness of Lake Michigan is a picture etched into my memory.

Cool bean! Your photos always show me things in Chicago I never got to see when there on business. Thanks!

The BEAN! This reminds me of a lovely July morning in Chicago with Mishi and Heather. Good times... thanks for that memory.

You make me want to come to Chicago. But I have a question, how do they keep it clean?

The Bean is a new one for me too. Who is the sculpture and where is it?

Very cool photo.

That is awesome! Since you, the photographer, is indiscernible in the reflection, I assume you used a telephoto lens? I wonder who keeps it polished.

Collette: Welcome back. I'm glad you've liked Sarah. Thank you.

Melisa with one S: Thank you, ma'am.

Jientje: Thank you, Jientje. Next time.

Miss Ash: It's a BIG BEAN. yes, htere are people under it, inside. but I don't know how many people get caught pickin' their nose.

Big Mark 243: Next time you're here - you be sure to let me know.

PattiKen: You are SO welcome, Patti.

Tara R: I'm glad I could bring that back for you.

Honeybell: I think it's really ironic that somebody from the Chicago Park District must have a job called "Bean Cleaner".

Moneythoughts: I don't know, offhand, who the sculptor is - but it's in a park on the downtown lakefront.

Lisaschaos: Yeah. Ain't it?

Calicobebop: It is SO cool to stand under it and look straight up.

HollyATOM: It's cool. And relatively new.

Coal Miner's GD: Thank you, Heather. next time you're up here - I'll make sure you see it.

Eve Grey: Hey!! Canada. How are ya?

Hyphen Mama: Park District keeps it polished - and yes, I used a tele.

Interesting how I take the bean for granted and others have no idea what or where or why it is.

I grew up in the suburbs of chi-town, currently live in another great lakes state, and I can't wait to get into the city again. I assume you live in Chicago and I hope to read more as I follow your blog.

Thanks friend.
