Wordless Wednesday - The River, Redux

The River at Michigan Avenue

The OTHER shot I really like.

This is the last shot I took on the North side of the Chicago River when Jientje and I had gone walkabout and picture taking down Michigan Avenue. Of all the shots I took, this, I think, is my favorite.

Ndinombethe.

This is a bit non sequitir, but whenever I see "LouCeeL" I think of the show Arrested Development. The mother (played brilliantly by Jessica Walters) was named Lucille. In one episode the youngest son (with serious mother issues) was trying to get away from his mother by swimming in the ocean. Someone on shore kept trying to warn him of the seal that was swimming towards him, "LOOSE SEAL! LOOSE SEAL!" which of course he heard as "LUCILLE! LUCILLE!" which caused him to frantically swim towards the seal.

This is gorgeous and makes me miss Chicago. But not the weather.

Just catching up, and I'm sorry to hear about your injury. Ouch!
