Wordless Wednesday - Statue From Bark

Statue From Bark

The Chicago Botanic Gardens
This statue is going to be
the subject of research
by none other than me.

Sorry for the redux - but this IS a fuller view.
This guy just fascinates me.

I look forward to reading your research report on the Statue From Bark. Please be sure to footnote and list your sources. (The thing about listing sources is a personally story of mine, perhaps some day I might be able to tell you about it.)

Phantastic foto!

I've got to take the kids to Chicago sometime not in the winter and do the tourist thing. Or maybe just Brookfield Zoo.

He looks larger than life, and such fabulous detail. Thanks for giving us another look.

Jientje: That would be nice.

Shadow: I will when i get the info.

Moneythoughts: Jeez, Fred. Now it sounds like homework.

Emily: Brookfield Zoo is not as much a foto stop as some other places.

Calicobebop: As soon as I get anything - you'll all know.

Loraine: Yes, it is - and you really don't get the impact of this thing in a photo where there is no perspective to establish size.

NicoleB: Yes, he is.

Joyce-Anne: Interesting. The word just begins to scratch the feeling ...

Momisodes: I am so interested in finding out who made it, what it's made of, etc.

Tara R: You're welcome - and he is WAY larger than life.
