I have another web site for which I write and for which I have adopted other responsibilities, as well - not the least of which is a cleanup and lean-up of the site, to make it easier to read, less confusing, and more focused on the real stars of the site - the people who write stuff for the site.
Which is fine.
But I am feeling a little disconnected from the sites I visit - mainly because I have not settled into a routine where I'm comfortable, yet, and I am, therefore, a little distracted.
If I haven't been to you in a while, I will be. And soon. Bear with me, 'K?
BTW, the other site is The Inferno. Stop by sometime and check out the writing there. The contributors are amazing.
Oh - and somebody PLEASE save me from Facebook? Please?
Ndinombethe.

Well...I warned you about Facebook, didn't I??
How about logging off of facebook and unsave your password etc, so that when you click on it asks you to log in? Then you say "Oh yeeeah, I wasn't going on here". Or, get a friend to change your password and not tell you what it is till you have detoxed.
facebook? you got yourself in, now get yourself out, heee heee heeee. don't! i like seeing you there!
and i've been meaning to pop over to the inferno, but as you may have noticed, i've been procrastinating badly in the last few days and i think now's the time to unprocrastinate...
FaceBook has a power all it's own. But I don't really think it is FaceBook that has you, I think it is FarmVille.
I'm going to check out your "Inferno" --- but it all the writers are quality, then I won't be able to contribute.
Bwahh ha ha ha ha.... Facebook has you in it's evil clutches!!
Hard to get into a routine with that sort of internet-crack out there. Best of luck!
Facebook is a huge time suck. I had to pretty much quit it in order to NOT spend so much time there. It worked! I now only log on every couple of days or so. I spend a ton of time reading my wall so I know what people are up to, but it's less time than what I was spending on Facebook previously.
Be strong, Lou. You *can* save yourself from Facebook.
It looks like everyone has reminded you about Facebook, so I don't need to.
Stay well.
I agree with Patsy, I think you're addicted to Farmville. With me, it was Yoville. Good luck with the detox.
Hi, my name is Lou and I'm an addict. Hi Lou!
Don't do it, Lou! Don't go back in there! It's evil, evil I tell you!
I started on Farmville & progressed to Yoville & now they are calling me for Farkle! I.Must.Stay.Away!
I think we need a 12 step program for Facebook!
I know! I'll run over to the Inferno!!!
See, I've all but stopped posting just so you won't feel all guilty for not visiting. Aren't I nice? It's because I love you. =)
i hate facebook.
it irks me.
i'm thinking of deleting my account.
maybe i will............
Delete Farmville-- Trust me, it's freeing. It really is!
*snickers*
:)
Jientje: Yes, me dear - you did.
Nan: Detoxed. I can use that on Lexulous.
Shadow: I have procrastinated too. Happy Belated Birthday.
Patsy: Oh yes you can.
Calicobebop: I can just hear that laughter.
Tuli: Yes - I know I can. I have started.
Moneythoughts: Thank you, Fred. Well and unstressed.
Joyce-Anne: I am on my way to total detoxification.
Audubon Ron: You too, Lou?
Collette: Thank you, fellow 12 stepper.
Hyphen Mama: Not as much as I love you.
Warriorwoman: No, not that. just don't USE it - but don't delete it.
Heather: Must
delete
Farmville ....
Walk away from the Facebook, Lou. Just. Walk. Away.
I have NO idea how you find the time to juggle it all. And DEFINITELY stay away from Facebook.
You mean Crackbook? Are you on a Mac? There's software you can download that will block you from sites you define for a specified amount of time. I forget what it's called, but I can look it up for you.
Other than that, consider it a drug and act accordingly.
