Those of you who read here regularly know I manage a site for Writers. It's an integral part of The Artist Challenge, a site where visual artists produce Art in response to a challenge word or phrase. The Writer's site, The Inferno, produces work from the Writers at the same time the Visual Artists' work is published on 'The Artist Challenge'. This last Saturday, we published a challenge called "The Winter Of Our Discontent". If you'd like to read a little of what we've done, click on the link.
Participation in a challenge by the writers is always voluntary - so we might have five pieces for one challenge, and three the next. But it's always good stuff.
And it wouldn't hurt my feelings any if some of you became followers of 'The Inferno'.
It was great seeing Mishi this last Saturday. She was in town on business and we had lunch and later, I took her to the airport. One thing about Mishi - she gives GREAT hugs.
I have been taking a few pictures lately - I'm still, after all these years, trying to find my voice as a photographer. But I have learned a lot in the last couple of weeks - mostly from watching Jientje work - which was a rare treat.
One of our writers on 'The Inferno' has published over 200 books.
Upcoming, on 'The Inferno' will be an interview with Catherine Ryan Hyde, thre author of "Pay It Forward". You guys are the only ones who know - so let's keep it just between you and me, 'K? (Eat your heart out, Connie Chung.)

Oooo, an interview! Also, very jealous that you got hugs from Mishi. I miss hugs and don't get nearly enough of them. I think I should join the free hugs campaign and stand out on the street with a sign.
Me too, I work for hugs.
I reviewed the artists challenge and the format I haven't figured out. Still thinking on it.
Aaaawww, don't tell me I missed Mishi by merely a week? DUH!
I could have sworn I saw her Michael at the airport though. A great hugger eh? Three would have been too much eh? LOL! Aaaah well, always lkeave something to come back to, that's MY plan!!!
Hope you find your voice. Photography is fun.
My comments haven't been posting on Jientje's blog for months or something. I wonder if there's a glitch...?
You are so incredibly creative and talented! Just your energy for writing, painting and photography alone is enviable. Enjoy your interview!
Velvet Verbosity: I would give you hugs for free - but it's a long way from here to there.
Audubon Ron: The format will get easier to understand - when the site re-design is done.
Jientje: Yes - always leave something to come back to.
Loraine: None that I'm aware of - maybe it's your browser?
HollyATOM: I will - and so will those of you who come by to read it.
I'm a member of a small writer's group out in the 'burbs (Batavia to be specific), Fox Valley Writer's Group. We meet once every two weeks. I hope you don't mind if I share your link for The Inferno with my writer's group.
Hugs are great : ) and taking pictures is great too! I will go check out your site!
