That Was The Weekend That Was. Nephew married. Christine is now an official member of the family. And no, she's not crazy.
Big time family get together on Saturday. No drunks. No fights. Just family, food and a lot of pictures. Some of which will show up here.
Yesterday, the Bears won, "Lefty" won the Tour Championship Tournament and "Tiger" won the Fedex Cup and the 10 million bucks that goes with it. Grannie is officially happy. If I was playing professional golf, and if I happened to be playing against Tiger, I'm not sure my own mother would be rooting for me.
Today is back to work and completion of a niggling little project that keeps landing on my desk, even though I shouldn't have to deal with it. I have fixed it so it will now go away and never, ever come back. I hope.
Meanwhile, this weekend off of blogging, although rejuvenating, means that my Reader is buried. I'm afraid the evil deed may need to be done. I hate it when that happens. All of that said, 'Sarah' has been in my head all weekend and there is some good stuff coming, soon. I knew where this part of the story was going, but I didn't know it was going to get this good. The next few weekends are going to be interesting.
Ndinombethe.

oh, don't stress. real life should take preferance, right?
Yes, Lou. Real life. If anything drastic has happened, you'll figure it out! Isn't it great to have family together?
I don't even look at that reader anymore. It just makes me nervous. It makes me feel guilty. And there is no need for that, right? I'm glad you had such a great weekend. I hope thye rest of the week is just as good. Good luck with that little project you got going at work. another Gremlin that needs to be killed?
Hey, if you hit that "Mark as Read" button, how will you ever read my post about a near death incident involving a pair of scissors and my, um.... girl parts?
You won't. You'll miss it. And your life will be less because of it. And really, Lou? Can you REALLY handle having your life miss an opportunity like that?
I think not.
My own nagging little project is never ending. If you can suggest a way to stop that let me know and I'll surely take you up on it. ;) Good luck with yours and Happy Monday!
Glad you made it to Monday, now have a good week.
Sometimes you just have to hit that MAAR button, fact of life. Don't let it stress you out. We'll write more.
I can't wait for the next Sarah installment.
Don't worry, hon. After ten days of no blog reading because kid birthdays and illnesses got me behind (excuses, excuses, I know), I hit "mark all as read." So, don't you dare worry about it.
Glad you had a fabulous weekend!
Good thing when family gets together - and doesn't fight.
Congratulations to your nephew!
I think we all hit that MAR button sometimes!
Some words of advice "Mark all as read."
I do it all the time.
The guilt goes away....eventually.
Haha "the evil deed may need to be done". But it feels soooooo damn good once you get used to it (if you mean clearing your reader). Trust me, no one cares if you mark all read, just you. Be strong young one.
It sounds like you had a fantastic weekend! This makes me very happy! It's okay if you MAAR. We all do it sometimes.
Mark All As Read. You can do it. And you'll feel so much better once your reader is not so full. That little bit of guilt is worth the great weekend.
I so know that buried feeling. Just do the deed and forgive yourself. XX
Sounds like a wonderful family event :)
I'm on a mission to dig my way out of the My Reader overload, too!
