Before and After

Okay - some of you wanted to know what the picture of Loralee looked like in the beginning. Which is fair. So, here it is.

Now that's not a bad picture. I think it's impossible to take a 'bad' picture of Loralee. That said, the lighting is flat and the color is bad - it is NOT a truly flattering photograph.

Now the picture below, which is what the picture above became, is much better. It is much more flattering of the subject. That is - it doesn't DETRACT from the natural beauty of the woman.

Dontcha think?

I see the sleek appeal of the touched up photo, but I love quirk. The original has more quirk and character. ~Mary

I think you are going to be busy "cleaning up" a lot of photos of women in the future. Once word of your ability to make women look better spreads across the Internet, you will inundated with requests. Who knows what this is going to lead to?

I love Fred's way of thinking!

The first looks like a personal snapshot. The second, a professionally polished stunning picture. Great job, Lou!

I totally need to learn photoshop.

If it can make me look like that, I'll do anything :)

Again, that second photo is so dynamic. I just love how it makes her look all glowy, which is something the first photo does not.

I really need photoshop. I have a program that does some, but I never get those kind of results. Prabably I just need to play with it more or have some lessons. But I don't think it will ever match what photoshop does.

And you are right --- the subject does help.

Nice work!! Keep practicing, just KEEP practicing, and I KNOW you're going to make me look like a million dollars when I get there! Hmmm, that's a nice thought!

I agree with the comment that she can't take a bad picture. Both shots are gorgeous, but I do prefer the B&W.

That is a gorgeous photo, both really, but the second one is amazing. I need to sit down and actually learn photoshop so I can do this.
