A 'Seinfeld' - a post about nothing.

A million things are running through my head.

#3 comes home on Friday, his summer program finished. Meanwhile, SWMBO is restructuring his room, getting ready for the start of school and the longer term absence of #3 son. I wonder how he's going to take this.

I've been trying to help my Doctor make up her mind about how to do EMR - Electronic Medical Records. In doing so, I think I may have touched upon a business opportunity - I could easily set up hosting for a Medical Records and Practice Management system. And sell the hosted services to Doctors. This could be how I fund my retirement in a few years. I mean - when I'm ready to retire, in a few years, this could be the extra income I would need in order to not starve.

I love open source software. The EMR software is, essentially, free. Really, really low start up costs.

BlogHer is coming and I'm getting anxious. Nervous.

It's Monday and the first day of a busy week. I have a meeting with my Doctor on Wednesday evening. Wish me luck.

Ndinombethe.

I keep looking for a good way to make money for my retirement as well, still I got another 25+ years to think about it.
Good Luck

I got my T-shirt festival this Friday, so, I think I will pass this time on BlogHer in Chicgo next week.

Good luck! In addition to being nervous, I bet you're a bit excited for BlogHer too. You are going to meet some amazing people. As the only person on the planet who is not going to BlogHer, I must admit I'm a little jealous.

Best of Luck that it works out with the extra income!
We are looking for opportunities like that too, but there hasn't one popped up yet ;)
Best wishes to you!

Good luck for that doctor's appointment, or maybe I should say good health!

Good luck.... my husband is making that same transition right now.

See you soon LceeL. Sorry for not replying to your email the other week. My mom gave me the LOOK of death each time I logged on the computer. Heh. I had to limit my time online to minutes each night. See you next week in Chicago!

The EMR opportunity sounds perfect! If you can get to your Dr before the jillions of software reps get to them, THAT would be wonderful.

Good luck!

I have to admit. I'm quite intrigued about the hosting service. Dadisodes and I are thinking of doing something similar as well...a small side thing.

It is Wednesday as I read this. Best of luck with your meeting this evening. I'm sure you have the expertize she is looking for. How lucky you are to have a way to fund your retirement (when you are ready to retire).
