To the Prom

Last Saturday was the Senior Prom at our High School. #3 Son and his Lady Fair (she, by the way, is a college freshman and about a year and a half older than #3 Son) went and had a good time.

#3 Son looking rather smug, for some reason.

Lady Fair pinning his flower to his lapel - trying desperately NOT to run him through with the (rather large) pin.

The couple in question at the entrance to the banquet hall where the event was held. #3 looking all cool and stuff. And Lady Fair looking rather smug herself.

They had a great time. They were home early. And safe.

I'm glad the lovely couple had a good time. She looks like she would have a good time where ever she is --- and a smug confident smile is always good to see on youth. The world is theirs right now --- life is there for the taking.

Now question -- because I enlarged the picture to get a better look and then enlarged again I want to know --- did you paint both of the pictures that can be seen behind Son and Lady Fair where she is pinning the flower to his lapel?

A very handsome couple. My college kid is dating a younger man too... it runs in the family. Hope they had a wonderful evening.

They look gorgeous! I love her pinkish hair. Wynnie wants pink hair and I'm sure at some point, it WILL BE pink.

I could have sworn he was #3 Son, now I'm all kinds of confused. Not a surprise...that's how I roll.
