Wordless Wednesday - Inverted

Inverted Flying

This is another thing I enjoy doing - taking pictures of aircraft in flight. You did notice that this aircraft is lit from below, right? He is flying inverted - upside down. I was right side up.

Snoopy would be proud.

I wonder if he ever flew his doghouse inverted?

Very cool shot. Now I feel kind of mixed up and turned around. ;)

I think you are just being modest. I'll bet you took that picture standing on your head. :)

Brrrr... No way, no how.

Cool shot though! From the safety of the ground. :)

Oh, we REALLY have to get you up in our plane! (Right side up though, it's not built for aerobatics) I'd love to see the pictures you would take of it.

How is Son doing today?

ugh... I can't do roller coasters and I could NOT fly upside down in a plane. Very cool though. :)

PS: My Granddad flew a Stearman bi-plane in WWII. He was in the Army Air Corp. I'll have to post pictures.

Wait. What? said...

Wow - now that is a cool photograph!

Pretty cool. My husband loves taking pictures of aircraft in flight too.

I like taking pictures of outhouses on hiking trails.

Wonderful shot. But .... I wouldn't want to be in that plane.:O

You do have some wonderful aircraft photos.

This is such a fun pic! Although, I don't think I would ever want to be in that position in a plane. EVER.

Ingot: I HAVE seen Snoopy inverted - now whether he did it on purpose or not is undecided.

Jientje: Tickle, tickle.

Shadow: Soon, soon.

Maggie's Mind: It's been one of those days.

Moneythoughts: No, but I almost lost my balance staying with that shot.

Calicobebop: Awwww, it's FUN.

NicoleB: Bitte.

Tara R: It was fun shooting his flybys. I have several dozen shots.

Mrs F with 4: Son is doing so very, very well. Much better than we could have hoped for. I would LOVE to take shots of your plane.

Joyce-Anne: Thank you, Joyce-Anne.

Emily: I would love being in that plane - had to be satisfied with taking pictures.

Emily: I have some Stearman pictures pictures that I can post, as well.

Cat: Thank you, Cat. It was fun doing it - and the camera helps, of course. My Canon 30D.

Sarah: I try to avoid outhouses whenever that's practical.

Patsy: Thank you, Patsy. That kind of flying isn't for everyone.

Momisodes: It IS fun. Honest.

I have serious respect for anybody who can fly upside down and keep their bearings. And, um, not barf all over themselves.
