Happy Day After ...

I was so interested in geting Part 3 done and published yesterday, that I forgot to wish everyone a Happy Easter. So, Happy Monday The Day After Easter. Which not everybody will do, you know? Wish you a happy day AFTER the holiday? It's almost like a "Yeah, it's the day after the holiday and I hope your day sucks just as bad as mine is going to" attitude. But not here. No matter WHAT my day is going to be, today, I'm going to wish you a 'Happy' day. No where else. Just here.

This is necessarily brief, today. Unfortunately, I don't have the talent that Janet from Planet of Janet has for describing the hilarity that takes place at family trips to the restaurant in celebration of this, that, or the other, thing. I did learn, however, that my daughter-in-law's mind is just as wildly perverted as mine is. Thing is, they say the Son always 'marries his mother'; that is, the woman he marries is very much a reflection of his mother - if not in looks, at least in habit and personality. I have but one daughter-in-law, but from here, this looks like another one of those 'old wives tales' with a grain of truth.

Happy day after to you too Lou :)

I'd have to say my husband has gone for the complete opposite in EVERY way in marrying me. Total opposites in looks, personality, habit....thank god there couldn't be two in the world like her....surely.

Happy Day After!

I hope you had as nice a day as we did. I also hope I'm as lucky in my daughters-in-law as you, when the time eventually comes.

Have a great day!

Well If Bitsy's anything like Annie I'm sure she's wonderful. Happy Monday to you too!

Happy Monday to you too. I've already screwed mine up a little, though- let's hope I don't forget something else and make it worse.

I hope you had a Happy Easter. Mine was busy--well, I worked, what else is new about that? Today, I am recovering as well as cleaning, preparing meals and laundry.

My husband absolutely POSITIVELY DID NOT marry somebody even remotely like his mother. Even my therapist says so. haha

I'm just sayin'.

=) I hope your Monday was wonderful. I just polished off an entire family sized bay of pastel m&ms... so my kids couldn't eat them. Aren't I nice?

I LOVE that your DIL and you see eye-to-eye :)

But the thought of me being ANYTHING like my MIL?

Well...I...I...I couldn't think of anything more depressing.

I'm with Sandy. If my husband "married his mother" -- me -- I'm just speechless there. ;)

Jientje: Thank you, Jientje.

Myst_72: I said it's only a grain of truth - not true in all instances.

Shadow: Yes. It is special.

Mrs F with 4: I hope so too, Mrs F.

Employee: She is - and they are kind of spooky alike.

Loraine: I hope the rest of your Monday was okay.

Joyce-Anne: A Happy Easter was had - I'm sorry your Monday is so bad.

Hyphen Mama: You DO know where M&M's go, don't you?

Momisodes: Not EVERY man marries his mother. Just enough to add that grain of truth.

HollyATOM: Not everyone marries his Mom. But some.
