Haiku Friday - Life out here

Haiku Friday

Life Out Here

One will soon marry,
Another goes to Japan,
Many are depressed.

Some are on a high,
And others on hiatus,
Some just seldom post.

They come and they go,
but one constant seems to be,
life, ever changing.

All of life's drama,
Plays out in the blogger's world,
Day by day, by day.

Tragedy, at times,
Joy and passion at others,
the gamut is run.

And all one can do,
is stand by, and watch, and feel,
The pain, or the joy.

It is frustrating,
The written word not enough,
There is no touching.

No embrace or hug,
No kiss to make it better
No wiped away tear.

Just sit there and read,
And hope what you have to say,
Conveys your meaning.

The word, taught to me by a blogger, whom I have met, who has a place in my heart and soul forever, is "Ndinombethe". It means, "As I go, I am wearing you".

Each and every one of you.

But what you say often does make it better. You're always the man with the right words and the right piece of advice. That's why we all love you so much! To top it all off; you're a wonderful writer!! This is a beautiful piece of poetry!

You say the sweetest things!

What you said is so true. And so beautifully put, as always. We are sharing our lives as best we can, the good, bad and ugly. It would be nice if we could do it in person though :)

Your words DO help... and they're beautiful. I wish I had an ounce of your talent... of empathy; compassion; with words.

While you're wearing me, darlin, I hope you have clothing on too.

you did capture the limits of blogging really well. comments and emails only go so far to convey emotions.

So beautiful. I think you captured life within the blogosphere so well here. It is so tough seeing friends and good people only through words. But I hope you know, that your words really do make a difference.

You convey so much, with so few words. Nicely done.
