hurrieder and behinder

One of my favorite expressions for explaining the way things seem to go sometimes - especially when under pressure to get things done and things just seem to pile up - is, "The hurrieder I go, the behinder I get".

It only seems that way, of course. You keep banging away at things and all of a sudden it's "Huh? What do I do now?" because you've just that quickly run out of things to do. I keep looking for that to happen. I know it will. I've been here so many times before. It's just that it's not time, yet.

But I can't wait until it is time. The pace just HAS to slow down.

I want to get back to my 'normal' routine - to the pace that allows me the time to read and comment - mixing things in through the course of a days normal activities.

Is that too much to ask? Is Karma done messing with me, yet?

I hope so.

I miss you all. So much.

And now we're all going to say how much we miss YOU. But it's true, I miss you too, and I hope your Karma (or whatever it is that's messing with your life) gives you some peace next week. Sending good vibes, who knows? It might help?

Oh man, I hate times like these. We currently have some of our own. The big WTF? moments. Then the end comes and its like quitting a bad habit cold turkey. Ahhhh, the cycle. Good luck, there will be better days ahead, we both know it.

No worries... I'm leaving a light on for you... and a cold beer in the frig. Hope life calms down for ya soon.

I have to deal with things at my own pace, or I go crazy. Literally.
Good luck, I'm rooting for you.

The thing I find odd is how time passes so much faster the older we get. Doing all those things still takes the same length of time, but there's less time to do it in.
Oh well.

I've been having that problem, too. Especially since I've been in a move-related flux. Moving is so chaotic and leaves me no time to blog! THUMBS DOWN!

Myst_72: Thank you, Gina. I'll keep banging at it until it goes away.

Jientje: I'm sure it will help. Jientje.

Shadow: Thank you, V. From your mouth to Karma's ear.

Hockeyman: I'm closer to the end of this mess than the beginning. Thankfully.

Tara R: Mmmmm. Cold beer in the fridge.

Loraine: Thank you, Loraine. You just take it nice and easy.

Redchair: Right on the button!!

Nan: I imagine so - you're getting ready to mave and all ...

Trannyhead: My problem exactly - no time to blog.

It'll let up-eventually.

(My crap was seven months long-but things seem to be coming together in the past couple of weeks)

Still? I'm so sorry.

I'm still here. I'll always be. Hang in there.

I'm totally where you are. Busier and more behind than ever, craving the normal routine, again.

I miss you and I'm glad I'm forcing myself to procrastinate a bit to comment.
