Saturday and I'm late.

I had planned to do this meme thing I ran into at Maggie's Mind where you leave a comment that asks for an interview and she sends you five questions to answer and yada, yada, yada.

Well, I got all tied up in stuff for work, this evening, and didn't get around to blogging - at all. I didn't even respond to my comments - which I ALWAYS do. (Well, most always, anyway.)

So I'm gonna do my questions on Monday (bigger audience). I don't know WHAT I'm going to do tomorrow. We'll see when the time comes.

My favorite quote for the day, by Anon., "A friend is someone who knows EVERYTHING about you, and likes you anyway."

Ndinombethe.

I'm looking forward to seeing Monday's post!

There's a song running through my head right now, but I'm not sure who sang it.
"Ain't it good to know, that you've got a friend, some people can be so cruel. They'll hurt you then they'll desert you. They'll take your soul if you let them so. ..."
It's so good to know I've got a friend in you, way across the other side of the world. It's good to have you as a friend, and it's good to BE a friend for you. Enjoy the weekend Lou.
No power outages or funny stuff at the plant this time around huh?

Ooh, I look forward to your answers! Until then, I love that quote. I think I've seen it, but I'd forgotten it if I had, and it is so very true. I have a friend or two like that, and those the most golden friendships. Hope your Saturday is full of relaxation to make up for all of that being busy.

Very true...and something that I've experienced this year while opening up more on my blog.

Oh, and Jientje, that song is "You've Got a Friend", James Taylor. LOVE that song.

That quote goes hand in hand with another one I quote all the time, "A friend is someone who is there even when it's NOT convenient"...(Hugs)Indigo

A friend will always enable you. Oh, that sounds wrong.....but oh, so right.

I love that quote, I've actually heard it before. Hope you don't lose out too much of your weekend. Can't wait for Monday's meme.

If I were interviewing you I'd ask if you were a Trekker.

If you were I wouldn't hire you, just cause.

Solid quote indeed.

You can always take a day off now that you completed the 365, but I have this strange feeling you won't.

Suzanne: I, too, am looking forward to Monday's post - I have no idea what my answers are going to be.

Jientje: I don't even want to talk about the plant. I spent all of this morning there.

Maggie's Mind: Still busy. But that's why they pay me the big bucks.

Michael: Hey, a son the makes you a 'bacon sarnie' - now that's what I call living.

Calicobebop: I think that's my favorite quote - although Anais Nin comes real close with, "I am the keeper of fragile things, and I have kept of you what is indissolvable."

Shadow: Thank you, V. I like you a lot, too.

Ashlie: I like James Taylor a whole bunch, also. "Fire & Rain". Wow.

Indigo: And a major hug right back to you, Indigo.

Christy: I wrote in a poem, once, "A friend is a mirror, to see yourself as others do."

Ree: I would, if I could, but I can't, so I shan't.

Nicole: Yes, it is. So true.

Tara R: "If you knew what I knew..."

AFF: Thank you, Holly. I feel so ... comfortable here.

Theresa: Hopefully.

Joyce-Anne: I've lost some of it - but it's snowing out there so there isn't much moving today, anyway. Of course, I could be painting.

Warriorwoman: I like the Treks - but I'm not a 'trekkie'.

Eric S: Not so far, anyway.

Myst_72: Like I said - I have no idea.

Ain't it the truth! I have few friends. I wonder if that's because the others couldn't take all of me. Hmmm.

I have been so busy doing nothing that I didn't get around to blogging for several days. I finally got to it today. but my google reader looks VERY intimidating right now.
