One step over the line

I have crossed the line. The finish line, that is. And I suddenly find myself in space. It's like there are no boundaries - there is no direction - no up, no down or sideways. And yet all directions are open and possible. It is all very strange.

I may blog daily. Or maybe not. But. I have a motto - "But not tomorrow." So. Skip a day? Maybe. But not tomorrow. (The question could also be, "Will I blog?" and the answer might be, "Absolutely. But not tomorrow.") So, the mystery will always be - which question is being asked? The answer will never be in question.

As far as what I plan to do here - it will be more of the same. Probably. 100 Word Challenges on Sundays. Haiku sometimes, on Fridays. Wordy Wednesdays and Tuesday Tales. Maybe even an occasional Thursday Thirteen. And, of course, as I produce Art, it will be documented here and on NewAtArt. And soon, probably very soon, I'll begin to publish small segments of "Vigilante, The Sarah Pierce Story". Maybe daily for short periods of time. I've learned something from Veronica of LONELY ROADS and PSYCHO PATHS about publishing. She has it down to a science.

Whatever happens here will be a result of my best effort. I will never again blog a one word post (I tried finding it and I can't but I know there was one day where my post consisted of "ARRRRGH!!" - or something similar.) If I can't post something worthwhile, then the question asked will be, "Will I blog?" You know the answer.

The year is over
A New Year begins today
Long live the new year.

Happy New Year!!!

I think it must feel really good to know you don't HAVE to blog every single day. And, when you take a break, I will understand--but, I will also have withdrawal symptoms. I'm just sayin'...

I was very happy to see that you did not take the day off from blogging, not even today, on this New Year's day. We both crossed that finish line together with a couple of others, and it feels awkward. That little extra pressure because I "had to" sometimes did result in something worth while. I don't know how I'll do it either, but I won't stop, that's for sure!
Happy New Year, Lou!

Happy New Year!

I've got too much good stuff NOT to blog today. It just has to wait until I reload my cell phone software to get the pictures for the photo essay uploaded.

I'm glad you're taking it one day at a time! :)

I'm amazed that people think its difficult to blog everyday, er I mean well done. Happy 2009 the only way is up!

Like the rest, I had to see if you were going to write something today. Doing something every day becomes a habit, and habits have staying power. People that write every day must find enjoyment in writing, but after writing so many days in a row, a strong habit is formed.

This whole blog thing reminds me of what it must have been like in the old days when people could pick up their phone and listen or talk to everyone in a small town. But, the beauty of the Internet is that our "small town" is now the world.

I would be interested in learning what you learned about publishing on the Internet. When you have time drop me an email please.

I hope this will be a wonderful year for you and your family.

So good to see you here today! The meme's you are planning on doing regularly or on occasion are worthy of participating in. Enjoy the new year of writing without the pressure of writing each day. It is a wonderful feeling. :)

Ah, sweet freedom from obligation!

I would never sign up to blog everyday--even though I probably write more than most!

Good for you!

And good it's done....

Happy New Year, Lou. I am leaving the house shortly, to go catch a movie. I will be on the look out for boobs for you. Or at least vaguely boob-like shapes.

Apparently my new year's resolution is to vomit seemingly random stuff into people's comments. But only into the comments of people I really like. Lucky you, Lou!

Have you been drinking.

Oh, and live long and prosper.

I'm no good at remembering to do things like blog and comment- i try but sometimes I just forget or I just can't do it. But the one thing I refuse to do is feel guilty about it- and I don't think anyone else should, either. If you can't blog, or don't feel like it, it's not going to hurt anyone if you don't.

I'm amazed at anyone who did the whole 365 thing and kicked its butt. You are amazing anyway, but even more so now.

Happy New Year!

I am right there with you on the daily blogging. Now that Blog365 is over, I feel a bit "free" in a sense. There's no obligations...and as you can see, I've taken full advantage :) I can't wait to see what this new found freedom will unfold for us both!
