Monday in Trinidad, Mon

This Internet connection at the hotel is slow and somewhat spotty - and I'm not really sure of this computer, either, so I'll make this short. Having a wonderful time, wish you were here. Everyone here has been just amazing. Once they get over the fact that we're from 'The Internet', even perfect strangers are warm and friendly. Tash has been the most amazing hostess, her family has been SO warm and receptive and generous, and Paul, Tash's Paul, has been the kindest and most generous man. And he has a really FAST boat. Personally, I think they make a great couple.

I have plenty of pictures from down the islands. It would be impossible to post them from here, though - so it will have to wait until I get home.

And yes. Copius amounts of rum have been consumed.

Ndinombethe.

Hello? Where is everyone? I'm not supposed to be the first comment, so I hope everyone is OK.

Sounds like things are going real well down there. Just like they should. Got to love the weather.

I am jealous. This winter here in NY is such a drag. I will visualize you sunny and warm and smile today. Enjoy!

So glad to hear you're having a great time, Lou! I am attempting to live vicariously through you in our 17 degree weather :)

Sip a bit of rum and coke for me!

I'm glad to hear you're having lots of fun in the sun. Would you mind bringing back some of the warm and delightful sunshine.

Big mistake. You should have come to Alaska for your vacation...

It's at least 20 degrees out, the sun shining and will shine for at least six and a half hours today, the roads are only spottily icy and killer.

Sounds like a great time you are having, fast boats, warm people and rum. What more could you possibly need?

Lucky Lou!

Wish I was there, too. Could use some rum about now.

Yes, rum must be consumed while on the island --- doesn't matter what island either.

Looking forward to the pictures.
