To, To, Tuesday

I could get used to not working. As far as I'm concerned, EVERY day could be, SHOULD be, Labor Day.

I got stuff done that doesn't matter all that much. What DOES matter is that I have a small problem with Hyphen Mama's painting.

It's done. But it's too wet to ship. And won't be dry enough for several days. So I'm sending her a picture of her painting. And after she has seen it, then I'll show it to you.

Update: She has been emailed her photo of the painting.

Also, Vikki North has done a charcoal portrait of The Kid. Apparently she's been reading my mind because her rendition of The Kid is exactly as I envision him in my head. He will appear with the next episode, on Thursday.

If all goes well, I'll publish a photo of Hyphen Mama's painting tomorrow. And Thursday we'll have the next episode of The Kid with Vikki's stunning portrait of him.

All I have to do is figure out what to do on Friday.

And it looks like the steamy sex scene is a go. I just have to figure out how to do it. Wait a minute .. that didn't sound right. I just have to figure out the mechanics of a potential sex encounter between a Stewardess and a passenger on a relatively small aircraft from 1950.

That's my problem. I usually CAN figure out the other stuff.

Maybe I should have read this post before commenting on the other. ;) In any case, you leave me looking forward to more, and that's always good.

Hee hee. For a minute, it did sound like you meant what you wrote...you know about the birds and bees.

This is so exciting! We actually get to read another chapter of The Kid and see a picture too. Too cool for words!

A picture of The Kid is going to be an awesome addition to the series! :)

Okay people, I have seen the painting and I have to tell ya, I squealed audibly when I opened the email this morning. I think our friend Lou has a psychic streak of his own! It's PERFECT. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT!

Also, I can't wait to see the rendition of The Kid. So exciting!

jientje: Thank you, Jientje. And yes, it may be possible to 'open a door' for Friday. My camera has been still for too long.

shadow: I think I'm going to make a conscious effort to NOT watch TV - and spend more time doing Art, making and organizing photographs (getting better at Photoshop) and blogging. A few extra days would be nice, however. anything you can do to help in that direction would be SO appreciated.

maggies mind: Always leave 'em wanting more. Good advice for writers and bloggers .. not good advice in sexual matters, however. I'm just sayin'.

witchypoo: It's just revenge for all the teasing I've been the victim of all my life. By women.

Christy: that is SSSOOOOO loaded.

Michael: Well done. Get that boy sorted and in school - although 100 pounds does seem a bit much to get him kitted up.

Nicole: Thank you, Nicole. I'm going to link you, tomorrow. That RACK needs appreciation.

Joyce-Anne: Vikki has done a wonderful - a perfect job on him. Just amazing.

Elizabeth: Yes. His portrait will become part of each episode.

honeybell: That's what I like to hear.

Hyphen Mama: Tomorrow I will show everyone else - but I'm going to take a new photo with better lighting.

I would want to sign that petition too Lou, I always want to do more than I have time for!

Looking forward to Friday too!
I'm soooooooooo curious ( yeah, we women ARE curious) what you are going to come up with. I just know it's going to be something very special.
Oh and a steamy sex scene at seven o'clock in the morning? Can't wait!! Hehehehe! Oops!

Can't wait to see the painting and looking forward to 'The Kid' on Thursday. And whatever you do on Friday will, I know, be great.

Okay, back to work...and yes, I'll sign that petition too.

Looking forward to it Lou!

And not worried in the least about you figuring the other stuff out... good luck with getting the Kid and the stewardess to fit in an overhead locker :)

Sex scenes?! Yes, i'll be checking in!

I can't wait to see the new painting. I am waiting with baited breath.

And, if you need drunk blogging, you need to get on Plurk on Friday nights. It's the norm.

Lou, they make movies about such things now, they're behind the curtain at the video store.
Or really late at night, when you're channel surfing, you'll come across some too.

Hope this helps.

Jientje: Just be sure to remember that the SSS (Steamy Sex Scene) is next week - not this week. This week's episode is dedicated to 'Warriorwitch', because it was at her prompting that I went 'back to the gut' to write this next episode.

employee: Yes!! Extra DAYS! You know - given that you're from Right Down The Road, we ought to get together for coffee sometime - public place and chaperones, and all that. Just to do a meet and greet.

Tash: I've been doing some research, and ... no, not THAT kind of research ... and I've found the answer to where and how. Now all I need to do is make WHY believable.

eve grey: Next week, Eve. But do stop by for this week, as well.

AFF: I am so afraid of Plurk.

Warriorwoman: Yeah, but those are fiction, right? They're just pretend, right? People don't REALLY act that way, do they? I feel another Illusion headed for the flusher.

I wonder if the Kid is as I picture him also.....

Man, I hate working --- I'm so behind. Lou, thanks for dropping by --- Looking forward to meeting *the Kid* on Thursday and for the SSS the following week --- Jient Je's doors are beautiful --- thinking of posting there too. So now I have two things to do for Friday --- did you forget your Haiku writing ability?? tomorrow

Jientje said...

Better go to sleep now! Night night!

ayewonder: Well, you'll all find out on Thursday. And you'll see him as I see him and as, somehow, Vikki sees him. Which is AMAZING.

patsy: Tomorrow, then. Jientje's doors are very pretty and I may do multiple things on Friday. Including "Opening Doors".

jientje: What do you say to a woman who greets you when she wakes in the morning, and says 'Good night' as she goes to sleep? I know. ... I'd better behave myself.

I can't wait to see the painting! And I agree, it would be great to not have a real job...oh wait, I already live that dream and it still sucks :-)

Momisodes said...

I agree everyday should be labor day. It was great having Dadisodes home...until he drove me nuts :)

I CANNOT WAIT to see your painting and Vikki's! That is amazing you've inspired her to create a portrait! I wish I could take part somehow too.

How about I dream about a hot, steamy sex scene on an airplane tonight? ;)

So - I suck and should have read this post first before making a comment on the other one. I guess you guys are not having a steamy affair and, in fact, you are MAILING this to her instead of presenting it to her in person.

Oh well - she's still awesome.
