The Kid lives on and on and on

Yes, The Kid is going to live on, at least for a while. Right now, he's on an airplane that just landed in Des Moines, Iowa. He's on his way to Vegas. You'll read all about it on Thursday. As a matter of fact, for the next few Thursdays, you'll read all about his trip, his ultimate trip, to Vegas on this plane, and then, perhaps a few stories about his time in Vegas. Of course, we all know how the story ends. The stories on the plane will explain how it all got started. And the stories that take place in Vegas will explain why it all had to end. At least, that's the plan. Thursday's story is called "Two Years Earlier ..."

I will try to make each story succinct, complete in itself yet dependent on what has gone before and, given that the ending is no mystery, full of portent for what is to come.

Looking forward to it, as I'm sure you know Lou!

Thank you so very much for your kind comments. You're a doll! Someone else mentioned the Anais quote before and yes, very very similar isn't it?

Ah yes, we know the end, but the anticipation is in "how it started". As you well know, I look forward to the stories, and answering the big WHY?

Hi Lou,
I’m with Eric. I really look forward to hearing how he got to be killer. What makes anyone kill without conscious is a long unanswered question. I excited to see what you’ll come up with. The Kid is quite the character.

Yeah- you totally have to keep The Kid alive! And I think I want to try that 'past lives' meme...
