It's Monday, it's going to rain today, and I pretty much got nuthin'. It's back to work day today, of course, but that isn't necessarily blog fodder. We did some damage to the foliage in the backyard yesterday (yes, I have fallen in love with that expression 'damage to the foliage'. I thought it was cute the first time I said it and I thought it worth repeating). It's actually starting to look respectable back there. And both of my sons living at home, helped. Although I STILL don't trust Zach around the tools, yet. He's such a 'funny' child, that one. It's like he's off in his own world, somewhere.
So, anyway, like I said, I got nuthin' so I'm gonna make this one short and sweet, besides, I seem to be stuck writing this in a loose Chicago dialect and the question is, "Why?" Peace.

anyway...i love the term "damage to the foliage"... :) good one!!
I have to do some damage to my foliage this week since we are going to be away on Sunday through Wed. I will wait till Thurs or Fri to do it... I LOVE to mow the lawn!! :) I find it relaxing and I love the smell of cut grass. :)
have a good Monday!! :)
xoxoxo
But the Cubs won the first series againt the Cards. Yippee!!!
Can't wait for it to rain here, there's supposed to be isolated rain or thunder showers. Hope it does soon, it's so hot :-| Well, I suppose it COULD be worse, it's only in the 80's. I'll have to keep an eye on the weather channel, so I'll know when and/or if I can bring the kids to the beach like I wanted to. I got Swimmers pull ups just for that occasion!
I had a weird dream about (ostensibly) you last night.
I was in a hotel and you were there and I walked too fast and lost you.
At least I think it was you....
Back to business for everyone, I guess today.
Btw, you may have noticed I never let having nothing to say stop ME.
maddy: OMG, where have you been?
jennifer: Thanks, Darlin', I will.
emily: Yes, they did, didn't they?
allison: The swimmer pullups are for you or the kids?
christy: You have NO IDEA how weird that is. I think you and I had the same dream.
I think "damage to the foliage" is a great expression...well coined!
If your Grannie is up for knitting me something, anything will do... I'm certainly not picky! ;)
I enjoy short and sweet once in a while.
Got nuth'in, not a problem. I usually snack when I blog surf. So, I won't be eating so many snacks.
Hey, Lou, I asked you on my blog about the dream coincidence.
I had a (future felon) boyfriend in college who believed in lucid dreaming and had the idea that we could do things consciously in dreams--fly, etc.
I might try that.
Meet me....
Hi Lou,
I'm have a nuthin' day to. Although I was out doing some damage to the front of my property this morning. (3 large garbage cans of clippings).
Vikki
I saw the title Short and Sweet and was POSITIVE you meant me. Oh well. Next time.
P.S. you must write about the semi-lucid tryst with Christy....*enquiring* minds want to know. If you're going to cheat on me, better with her than anybody else.
I let my husband damage the foliage by proclaiming that I was washing my hands of the flower bed by the ditch. My proclamation was thus - he could weed it, or I was mowing it. I, too, am she who must be obeyed Lou.
Hi again Lou,
Boy do I have a site that I'd love your opinion on. Political in nature...but I don't know what to think about it yet. If your interested you can contact me direct through my gallery site.
Vikki
Lou...I love how you're squeezing these posts in.
Elizabeth: I'll see if she has anything she'd like to give a go to.
AFF: I have several questions which pop to mind, all of which would get me in serious trouble on several levels, if asked, so I won't.
Audubon Ron: Hey. Cool.
Christy: Meet you .... I'll give it a whack - see what happens.
Vikki: Everybody should see that painting.
Hyphen Mama: The details aren't quite as juicy as I ... never mind. They're just not that juicy.
Alice: I bow in deep reverence.
redchair; I'll be there shortly.
thegrandview: It's a commitment.
Yeah Lou- I think you might be interested. If you go to my blog, hit the blog title link it will take you to the Red Chair Gallery (not blog). Go to the contact/purchase link (write test) and Ill write you back.
How do you find time to work with so many comments. At first I thought it kind of neat, but they are all over you like bees on honey. : )
I'm back from saving hundreds of pretend lives.
And I wasn't gonna say this, but you freaked me out when you said someone else was there in your dream......
In MY dream, your son was there.
I don't trust my husband around tools yet either, but apparently that doesn't stop him.
Mondays seem to be the most challenging blog day of the week for me.
"I seem to be stuck writing this in a loose Chicago dialect and the question is, 'Why?'" You're so funny!
Kay, Lou....I'm heading to bed......
Soon to sleep.
Let's sync up our dreams.
You're on top this time.
moneythoughts: I squeeze it in. I may blog about that, soon.
christy: Spooky.
Sandy: I KNOW what you mean.
Holly: Thank you for saying so.
Christy: You didn't like the side by side?
I got nothin either Lou
That's even weirder Lou!!!
Side-by-side is my FAVE!!!! How could you know?
(Except maybe a certain % of the population HAS to prefer that....wonder what the odds are, though?)
Just kidding! (?)
I did damage to foliage once but it wasn't my backyard.....and I wasn't alone.......
tash: It happens.
Christy: O M G.
warriorwoman: I love you. You are one LUSTY woman.
Nothing I can say about damage to the foliage that warrior woman hasn't already said. You are good hands my dear :-)
"damage to the foliage" ALMOST rhymes...
lady language: Just call me 'Allstate'.
manager mom: Well, in French. Je ne parle Frances.
