Friday Haiku - no time for ....

Fleeting, yes, very,
a valuable resource
but very fleeting

comes and goes so quick
never seems to be enough
never lasting long

we would all have more
if we were to have our way
but it's not to be

fleeting resource, time
can only be bought and sold
not ever hoarded

time can be managed
better by some than others
but never saved up

time comes and time goes
the same measured pace for all
never slow enough

If I had one wish
I would ask to slow down time
or just ask for more

25 hours
instead of the usual
24 hours

the extra hour
just for me to be with you
would not that be nice?

For a guy with no time, you did a great job with this.
BTW, I need your help at my place. We're having a house naming contest.

I could certainly use about 28 - at least! :)

I vote for 28 also. If for nothing more than to get 3 hours of sleep!

You took the words right out of my mouth :) Wish I could have an extra hour or 2 as well.

Hope things are slowing down for your weekend!

that extra hour would come in VERY VERY handy. i would love to use it for S.L.E.E.P.I.N.G., but it probably wouldn't happen ;-)

That was, as always, awesome.

Summed up perfectly. But I am greedy and want even more time. Perhaps 8 days in a week? Or a pill that means I never have to sleep.

Such a time waster that sleep thing.

Yup, never enough.
Wish I could remember
How to write these.

(not counting anything there, so if I produced one, go me!)

Speaking of producing---I did 2 writing related posts in the last 24 hours.

Check out my blog (if you haven't already). This week's submission to VV's 100 Word Challenge is up (sent to her first), and I finally posted to the 55 Flash Fiction blog I joined months ago! :-)
