Today, one of my favorite places to go (Blick Art Materials) is having a Grand Opening. The store in Wheaton, IL has moved to larger quarters and today is part of the celebration. This afternoon, my teacher, Marilyn Dale, is to give an oil painting demonstration at the new store. So, I'm going to be there. Besides, I really need something to organize all of this painting stuff I have accumulated and a 20% off sale is just the place to find what I need. It's called a 'taboret'. It's a small cabinet, but filled with shallow drawers instead of shelves. Just what I need to keep my brushes, solvents, paints and other materials all together in one place. Now if I could just get myself in front of my easel, actually painting.

I have an award for you...
I know how you feel.. I need to get on the wheel and throw..the hardest part is getting there, then once i start i dont want to stop...
cheers kim..
Who knew that you would be avoiding your crack, and trying to start it up again by visiting your supplier?
Sale? Did someone say 'sale'? That word works on me all the time to reel me in ;)
Did you get the cabinet?
Sale!!!!!
Do they have shoes?
Frogpondsrock: I'll be by on Monday to pick up my award - but than oyu, so much. So why is it so hard to start something I LOVE to do?
witchypoo: Is it, perhaps, because I'm easy?
Sandy: Married to Annie, one learns to make purchases 'on sale'. And yes, the taboret will show up this coming week. Not in stack. Had to order. :( There goes the 'instant gratification' I normally look for.
warriorwoman: Nope. No shoes. No toolbelts, either.
aawww....that's sad, no toolbelts.
I look strapping in a toolbelt - shoes or no shoes.
Good for people to know.
