Thursday 31 Jan

It's the last day of January and I haven't missed one day!! And on several days, I even made more than one post. Either I'm totally committed or should be - I'm not sure. There's a strong possibility I need to get a life.

I am willing to bet that every one of the people who read my posts are also familiar with and readers of Sarcastic Mom. If by some insane chance that isn't true - then you should be and go there right now. Then when you come back we can finish.

Welcome back. Lotus has a project in mind that I think is really worthwhile. Essentially, what she wants people to do is become more aware of their environment. And to clean up some small part of where they are. Remove the detritus that people carelessly leave behind. And then post about it. All of the details are in Lotus's post, which is here.
I plan to do it. I hope you can too.

Not missed a day! Very impressive.

In England we used to call people 'litter bugs' - I certainly this our priority should be retraining the little guys and gals.
Cheers

I love Sarcastic Mom! (I have to write down Feb. 11 so I remember to post about being green that day!)

I saw reading back you are going to London -- I love London (I lived in the Netherlands for a while, and would occasionally go to London to be among the English speaking). I loved taking photos from the Eye, and at the British Museum -- lots of cool stuff to photograph!

Sounds a great project.

Maddy: We call them litter bugs here, too.

Julie: British Museum .. good idea .. I hadn't thought of that. I hope I get a chance to get there.

Casdok: It has the potential to be a good one. I would like to see it get to be REAL BIG.

Where I am in Montana is pretty spotless. Must be the price I pay to live in God's Country. (Apart from the mullets).

P.S. Thanks for giving me the kick I needed to add audio to my Word of the Week, I've been thinking of it for the past year and never got enough bottle up to do it. I added it this morning.

abritdifferent: Ah, yes, the mullets. And I ran right there and listened and, as I said in a comment on your site, your voice is utterly charming. Your accent (brogue?) is the sort of thing that those of us born in the USofA love about the UK.

Yup, I indeed need a life too....I love Lotus' idea! I hope to take part in the event and get a post up. We're in the midst of packing for our move right around Feb 11th, so it's going to be tricky....but I'm trying!

Awesome job posting everyday!!!

I enjoyed my visit across the fence, thanks for the link!
I think I'll fly a banner behind my car that says something to the effect of "If you litter then you SUCK!" Think it will work?? ;)

Posting every day is good therapy for those of use crazy enough to do it! ;-D

Thanks so much for getting the word out about Project Support Beauty in Nature! You rock! :-)

Sandy: We know you're busy with the move - but we're glad you have it in mind.

Elizabeth: Lotus is well worth the visit, isn't she? I think that the banner idea might just be a bit bold -- don't want you to get yourself in trouble with some especially contentious litter bug.

Lotus: I don't rock as good as you do though.
