She came out to pick me up, but some local toughs had formed a semi-circle around my bike.

She asked if it was my bike, but she did it in one movement to the trunk of her car. Once it opened, she came from behind it, half of her body still shielded by the car. One of the cats threw an insult at her; his buddy gave him a push to quiet him.

I did not notice until I gathered my bike and started for the car, that she had produced her side arm (which she is licensed to carry). The cats were quiet as they retreated to wherever they came from/hope to keep going.

Like I said, Sarah reminds me of my girl... so very much. I know she is as capable of pulling off a scene like that as Sarah was!!Big Mark 243https://www.blogger.com/profile/10974573439218884164noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5969775012135767870.post-54529996120511001582010-08-29T20:44:52.944-05:002010-08-29T20:44:52.944-05:00And, I was worried for her... Sarah...Okay, that was worth holding my breath for. Sarah is making a powerful lot of enemies -- although with a gang one can never tell. I backed a leader down once with nothing but sharp words and they all treated me respectfully from that time forward.quillyhttp://quilldancer.comnoreply@blogger.com
